Therapeutic Style
We sometimes struggle to understand and express our feelings and thoughts in challenging situations. This can limit our ability to problem-solve, think creatively and critically about our situation and learn and grow through it.

I offer therapy from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. My practice focuses on supporting individuals and dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, low self-esteem, anger management, and communication challenges. My therapeutic approach is Emotionally Focused Therapy which provides a clear path through the emotional distress we sometimes experience in relationships with partners, family members and friends. It helps us to cultivate healthy and loving relationships that support our mental health during life challenges and allow us to flourish and thrive. My commitment is to empower clients to cultivate a profound sense of agency in their lives. Through our collaboration, my aim is for you to enhance your emotional mastery and foster problem-solving skills that will positively impact your relationships.

More than just my work:
Outside of work, my life is enriched by a loving relationship with my best friend, significant other and the one who stands by me unconditionally. Together, we share the joys of raising our beautiful children who keep us on our toes, our lives exciting and our days vibrant. As a dedicated dance and hockey mom, you can find me cheering from the sidelines, being our kids’ biggest fan and celebrating moments of their growth and achievements.
I’m a naturally born adventure seeker, always on the lookout for new experiences and outdoor thrills. One of my greatest passions outside of my family is riding my motorcycle, where I can let my hair blow and my soul soar.
I strive to achieve work/life balance. I remind myself daily, the importance of beginning each day with a grateful heart regardless of the challenges we may face. Life is about making memories that can be cherished and last us a lifetime!
